…but instead I’m coughing. Figures.
Stupid sick. Thank goodness my fever is gone, though. Cough will just NEVER leave. I keep getting pity faces from everyone, lol. “How are you feeling?” I guess I bitched about it enough to everyone I saw yesterday [Sunday] that they all felt bad for me. *is an attention whore*
Today I helped Andrew move his crap. Oh. My. Gosh. I carried so many things. I am a beast. I also lofted 1.5 beds. I say .5 because I started lofting the bed with him and then I dropped the bed. On my foot. It hurts still and is JUST NOW starting to bruise. I swear this happened nearly twelve hours ago. Anyway, Brittan came to help just at that time and she and Andrew lofted the one bed while I “spotted”. After that my strength was questioned. Still, it was nice being a girlie girl for a while. A little later we lofted the other bed and it was over VERY QUICKLY and I did not die. I was a pro.
I also carried a couch up the stairs!!! Another proud moment. Andrew kept saying I should be very proud of myself and all that junk (he was joking) but then kept saying things like, “everyone will be so impressed with you!” I laughed – a lot.
Oh, and when I say “I carried a couch up the stairs” I mean, “I held up the back end of the couch while Andrew pulled the couch up the stairs” – he kept reminding me that I had the easier job, lol. OH WELL. I didn’t die. I have been promised food as payment. Lunch or dinner. I was told it could be considered a date (the jerk) and I could tell all my friends. They would tease me ENDLESSLY. I would not call it a date. Also, I am allowed to be bitchy until he takes me out for food. I’m good at that.
Tomorrow (around noon) I have been recruited to help him move in his clothes. He lives about an hour and a half (maybe) away so he went home. Before that I’ve got to talk to Doc about the audition sheets for Thursday and Friday’s auditions. I want to make it better!!!
OH SHOOT! I forgot to put the year on the audition form >< DARN. Maybe in my final draft, haha!
Tomorrow afternoon we’re copying all the music for the year and filling folders. It has to be done by Wednesday so Doc can pick the sight reading for Thursday. That’ll be an all afternoon/evening project. I hope I’ll have time to practice!
I’m hungry but I think it’s the cough syrup’s doing. Ugh. The cough does not stop… Maybe I’ll just fall asleep (the meds are night time/drowsy). Come to think of it, my back is sore. Must be all the physical crap I did today. BLAH.
I feel my eyes starting to droop – YES! Goodnight!
